FREE GUIDE
How to auto-post your social media for free
You don't need an $800-a-month platform. A scheduling tool posts for you at the time you choose, and the good ones are free for a small business. Here's the setup, and how ContentMorph fits.
How scheduling works
- Connect your accounts. Link your Facebook page, Instagram, LinkedIn or X to the scheduling tool once.
- Draft the posts. Text, image or video, and a link.
- Set the date and time. Pick when each one goes live.
- It publishes for you. No logging in on the day.
The free tools that actually work
| Tool | Best for | Free tier |
|---|---|---|
| Meta Business Suite | Facebook + Instagram — most Australian small businesses need nothing else | Completely free, built by Meta, unlimited scheduling |
| Buffer | Adding LinkedIn, X, Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon, Pinterest | Free for 3 channels and 10 scheduled posts per channel; bulk CSV upload on paid plans |
| Later | Visual brands — Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok | Free starter plan; CSV bulk upload on paid plans |
| Hootsuite | Teams who need analytics and approvals | No free plan — from about US$99/month |
Free-tier limits change often; check each tool's pricing page before you rely on them.
Where ContentMorph fits
Scheduling tools post what you give them — they don't write it. ContentMorph does the writing: paste one idea, get a native version for each platform. Then either copy each post into your scheduler, or use Schedule export (Lifetime licence) to download the whole month as a CSV with dates and times already spread out, ready for Buffer, Later or Hootsuite bulk upload.
A ten-minute weekly routine
- Monday: paste this week's idea into ContentMorph, pick your platforms, generate.
- Read them once, fix anything that isn't your voice.
- Schedule them in Meta Business Suite (Facebook and Instagram) and Buffer (the rest), spread across the week.
- Done until next Monday.
Rather not do it at all? We write your month for A$79, or write and schedule it for A$149. See done-for-you →
